I’m Carole Mac.

Producer. Event Host. Food Journalist. Sommelier. Author & Speaker.

Thanks for coming to my website! My life’s mission is to share joy, inspiration, and empowerment through food and wine.

After losing my son TJ, I went on a journey to heal myself through food. I learned that we are FAR more powerful and resilient than we know, and that it is possible to be happy again after extreme loss and pain. Here is an example of how I did it. If you love food and wine like I do, email me at carole@carolemac.com to learn about my joy-inducing wine tastings, food events, and culinary travel.

I’ve been lucky to direct, produce, and host over 250 episodes featuring the world’s top chefs and sommeliers. I recently created by dream show Food Bliss (email me to come on a similar trip to Sicily). My series Somm School Insider appears on ROKU globally and “makes a splash in the wine world” according to USA TODAY.

I’ve been the Executive Producer of Wine4Food.com, Editorial Director of the James Beard award-winning The Rosengarten Report, and columnist for many publications including Food Republic and Edible Communities. My food film Oh My Rødgrød! was selected to appear in the New York City, Chicago, and Nova Scotia Food Film Festivals.

I’m most proud of my bestselling children’s book The Gift of the Ladybug, a bibliotherapy book used by doctors, therapists, and teachers to help families accept difficult diagnoses. So far I’ve raised $150K for kids with critical illnesses and created the National “Gift of the Ladybug” Day on January 28 (TJ’s birthday). Purchase books to benefit kids HERE.

I’ve delivered Keynote speeches to corporations, universities, and women’s groups across the country. You can find me on ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, MSN, YAHOO, USA TODAY, WOMAN’S DAY, and GLAMOUR.

I hope to meet you through the screen, on a stage or page, or in real life! In the meantime, come say “hi” on Instagram @carole.mac.
