I’m Carole Mac.

Executive Producer. Journalist. Sommelier. Author. Speaker & Host.

Thanks for coming to my website! My life’s mission is to spread inspiration through food, sports, and lessons from my beloved late son TJ.

I’ve been lucky to produce, direct, and host over 16 series and 250 episodes featuring the world’s top chefs and sommeliers. My series Somm School Insider appears on ROKU globally and “makes a splash in the wine world” according to USA TODAY.

I’m most proud of my bestselling children’s book The Gift of the Ladybug, a bibliotherapy book used by doctors, therapists, and teachers to help families accept diagnoses with peace and power. Inspired by my late son, it’s helped raise $125K for kids with critical illnesses and created the national “Gift of the Ladybug” Day on January 28 (TJ’s birthday). You can purchase books HERE (proceeds help kids at Make-A-Wish, United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation, and children’s hospitals nationwide).

I’ve been honored to Keynote/Speak at Michigan State University, Ohio University, and Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and been featured on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, DAILYMAILTV, USA TODAY, WOMAN’S DAY, and GLAMOUR.

I’ve been the Executive Producer and Editorial Director for Wine4Food.com and the James Beard award-winning The Rosengarten Report, and columnist for Edible Communities, Accent, CMH, and luxury publications Lapalme and Retreat magazines.

I’ve dabbled in filmmaking. My food film Oh My Rødgrød! was selected to appear in the New York City, Chicago, and Nova Scotia Food Film Festivals.

I hope to meet you through the screen, on a stage or page, or in real life! In the meantime, catch me on Instagram @carole.mac.
